If you love baking then you know of the many problems that tend to occur during the process. Slice Solutions has created a sectioner 9" Round Cake Pan that is sized perfectly for the pan that you place into the pan before cooking. One cooked and cooled the sectioner is removed and you have 8 presliced, perfectly sized, cake slices! Problem 2: Removing the cake slices from the pan is not easy, even with a small turner you tend to crush at least the first one or two cake slices just to get into the pan. Slice Solutions has developed a pan with a removable bottom that eliminates this issue. After removing the sectioner you place the entire pan, centered, on the included wire lifting rack. In doing so, the removable bottom stays on this rack and the outer pan drops underneath allowing for you to easily use a small turner to remove the cake slice. You can also use sectioner as a cutter after baking is completed if desired.

This cake pan is sturdy, the divider well thought out and the cooling rack a really handy item. The only problem I have is that even my thickest batters (pound cake) run through the two piece pan and onto the oven bottom to burn.
For the price, the rack and slicer are worth it, but I can’t find out how to bake in the two piece pan without having it run through.
This sectional cake pan was amazing to use. No fuss, no mess and slices ready to serve. I’ll never use a regular cake pan again. I absolutely love how well my cakes come out and you don’t have to worry about slicing pieces to serve. It’s the greatest.
Slice Solutions offers a nice package: You get a non-stick baking pan, new smooth, durable finish, with a professional-style removable bottom like a springform; a cake divider that functions both as a sectional baker and slicer, great for diets or catering; plus an ultra cooling rack, about 3-inches high–how often have we wished for rapid cooling???–that could easily double as an informal serving stand–each attractive and at a reasonable price. The divider, a sturdy, well-constructed, rather artistic piece without the usual razor-sharp, hazardous blades but a convenient handle, can easily serve as a scone baker, which works even better without the pan, producing authentic-looking rounded edges, just like hearth-baked. The ads don’t do the set justice!! We haven’t seen any EXTRA cake pans that match the set, but we’re still looking.
This product really helps with portion control. The only negative I have is it is a pain to clean even when you use cooking spray. Overall I recommend this product.
this was purchased in a set along with the sectional pie pan and both products are of high quality and great to use
