Product Description
My name is Lindsay Frucci and I am a brownieholic. I love thick, fudgy, chewy brownies. I hate fat. In my food or on my hips, fat is something I like to live without. Since most thick, fudgy, chewy brownies are loaded with fat this created quite a problem. Were brownies without guilt a possibility? In January of 1995, I decided to try and find out. Since my family and I had already tried and rejected several commercially available fat free brownies (they either tasted like fruit or had no taste at all), I decided to see if I could come up with my own fat free brownie recipe. During the next few weeks, I made and threw away more pans of brownies than most people make in a lifetime. Fortunately, we were having some remodeling done on our home at the time and the two builders who were doing the work were only too happy to be my "official" taste testers. They took their mission very seriously, carefully evaluating every batch of fat free brownies for taste and texture. By the time the remodeling was done, I had a recipe for fat free brownies that were chewy, very rich and fudgy, and, best of all, FAT FREE I knew that I wanted to turn the recipe into a company, but with a background that included pediatric nursing and being a Mom, I had absolutely no idea how... Enter my local SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) office. There, I was incredibly lucky to be connected with two wonderful gentlemen who had had extensive experience in the food industry. With their expertise and guidance, No Pudge! Foods was begun. FAT FREE Original Fudge Brownie Mix first appeared on the shelves of a few stores in August of 1995.

I have noticed as I have grown, my tastes have become more particular in some areas. Brownies are one such area. I developed an increasing dislike for most brownie mixes, but I love brownies. With this problem, No Pudge brownies were a blessing, as they are exactly how I believe brownies should be in texture, not too dry nor too gooey. The addition of mint flavoring (I adore mint) is simply a bonus.

As the store I’ve been buying this mix from seems to have stopped carrying them, and I’m not sure where else still carries them, I was very pleased to find them on Amazon. Though I will keep an eye out at appropriate stores for this item, I am certain I will buy the 6-pack here.

No Pudge Fudge fat free brownie mix is simply the best brownie mix I have ever been fortunate enough to discover. I loved it so much I bought a case of it! No one carries it where I live. I actually discovered it at a great store called Wildberries in Arcata Ca, where my daughter is attending Humboldt State University.

This mix is so fudgy, chewy and rich tasting but with no fat. All you add is vanilla and some yougert. The ingredient list is short and full of real foods, no preservatives, junk, high fructose corn syrup, nada!!

If I met this woman I would squish her with hugs. I have to only make them once in a while but I am a good girl, I only eat one a day.

The last batch I made into mini cupcakes and they were the bomb! I add crushed walnuts, hazelnuts and some sunflower seeds to mine.

I will buy these until they no longer make them and that better be when I am gone from this great planet!!

You can’t go wrong with this mix. I am also going to try the other flavors but I love mint the best.

I am a brownie lover and these are the best ever. They are better than homemade!

These brownies are beyond great. I make them in ramkins and they stay delicious for days. You can scoop with a spoon and it feels like a special dessert – not like a substitute for a real brownie because it tastes it is better than boxed brownies.
