These brownies are easy to make and taste great. My only complaint is the packaging. Both of the two boxes I have received have had mix all over inside the box due to cracks in the packaging of the mixes. I’ve used several other products from Bob’s Red Mill and this is the only product I’ve seen this packaging issue with.
I really like all of the other Bob’s Red Mill products, but I was disappointed in the brownies. They aren’t bad…but they aren’t great either. Betty Crocker’s gluten free brownie mix is much better. This mix just lacks that fudgy taste that makes a brownie a brownie.
Very good rich chocolate flavor, good texture. No soy, I am intolerant. Better flavor than Betty Crocker and again no soy problem. Best packaged gluten free dessert I have tried.
I just started my son on a gluten free diet. He is autistic and I have read some wonderful articles on how going gluten free can help behavior. It has only been about 2 weeks, so we have been trying different products from an assortment of manufacturer’s. I try everything I give him. I made the whole family try this brownie. Thick, rich, almost fudgy, this brownie was loved by all. I cannot say that for of the gluten free products, but Bob’s Red Mill brownie mix is definitely worth the price considering it is made with Ghirardelli chocolate! I did find that I had to cook the brownies much longer than the package suggested, but that may also have been due to using the perfect brownie pan! Enjoy…
I have not had any gluten reactions to Bob’s Red Mill gluten-free products.
This mix is very good and I used it to make my birthday brownies this year! The extras froze very well too.
