I want to make some extra money in the summer, and i thought that selling chocolate brownies would be quite a good way. So i went knocking on peoples doors asking if they wanted to buy any brownies, but they all said no. Are there any good ways to sell my brownies?

Hi,

I’m making brownies and I just realized that I do not have any toothpicks to use to test the doneness of the brownies. I’ve heard not to use a fork because it’s ineffective. Do any of you have any other suggestions?!

Okay, so I have a set of tins, two square and two round. Both made out of the exact same thing. When I bake brownies in the square tin, they come out perfect. When I bake them in the round tin, they come out with a weird spongy consistency. Why the heck is that?? I don’t know if it’s a weird physics problem or… I dunno. It’s weird.
Oh and it’s not because they’re not done. Trust me. They stay all spongy. And I actually mean spongy, not just… falling apart. The tins are pretty much the same size, and the same material and set and stuff.

I have previously baked brownies and they WERE perfect. But last night, when this batch of brownies came out, instead of the usual, it was quite dry and was more like crumbs. Whenever I touched it, it crumbled into tiny crumbs! What is going on here? Did miss any ingredient? Does it have anything to do with the baking powder or what? I also changed the brand of the chocolate.. does it have anything to do with that? Please help! I’m sitting here stuck with a bunch of brownie crumbs!

lol i have read these questions and it seems the answers are all condescending. half of the people say that the more egg you use the cakier the brownie gets while the other half thinks the contrary? so please let me know with a reliable source. i make homemade brownies and i dont want it so gooey. i dont exactly want them to be cake like just not mushy. thank you!

I am making a cheesecake with a brownie crust. It calls to use the box mix rather than making them from scratch. I want to do this because it is easier than doing them homemade, but what can I add to make them not taste so much like straight out of the box brownies? I already add cinnamon to them. I would like to mail my daughter some of her favorite brownies. She goes to college in Utah. What is the proper way to wrap them for freshness? Should I put them in a plastic container first, then wrap them? Any ideas would be helpful since I am on my 2nd batch of brownies now and I want to keep the first batch as fresh as possible.

As I am not good at baking at all my friend is going to lend me a hand which is a good thing. We are going to start with a box mix and neither one of us has the time or patience to make these from scratch (flour, cocoa…etc) We want to add things to the mix though so they are really fudgy, gooey and yummy. He doesnt like nuts so I was thinking of frosting the brownies with a dark chocolate fudge frosting and putting some chopped walnuts only on one side. He thinks instead of frosting to top the brownies with chocolate chips when they come out of the oven (I still think frosting sounds better and quicker) I was also thinking of putting chocolate chips into the batter. any other ideas or tips to make the ultimate brownie. Another thing: As I dont own a big stove; just a toaster oven we will be using that.

I have had no luck with brownies. I have cooked them with just convection on the setting the box recommends and the time. They looked done on the outside, but were not done on the inside. How do you cook with the mix/bake setting. My understanding is that it will microwave and convect. But how do you know how long to cook them.

I just got my GT Xpress 101 and I was looking through the cookbook I got with it. I have a box of brownie mix up in the cupboard and wanna know if you can make brownies in it?
