I have previously baked brownies and they WERE perfect. But last night, when this batch of brownies came out, instead of the usual, it was quite dry and was more like crumbs. Whenever I touched it, it crumbled into tiny crumbs! What is going on here? Did miss any ingredient? Does it have anything to do with the or what? I also changed the brand of the chocolate.. does it have anything to do with that? Please help! I'm sitting here stuck with a bunch of brownie crumbs!

I saw on TV a really cool restaurant that had salted caramel brownies. There was a layer of brownie, then a layer of caramel, then another layer of brownie so the caramel would be gooey inside the brownie..
Does anyone happen to have a recipe for something like this?

I am making a cheesecake with a brownie crust. It calls to use the box mix rather than making them from scratch. I want to do this because it is easier than doing them homemade, but what can I add to make them not taste so much like straight out of the box brownies? I already add cinnamon to them. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi,

I'm making brownies and I just realized that I do not have any toothpicks to use to test the doneness of the brownies. I've heard not to use a fork because it's ineffective. Do any of you have any other suggestions?!

Okay, so I have a set of tins, two square and two round. Both made out of the exact same thing. When I bake brownies in the square tin, they come out perfect. When I bake them in the round tin, they come out with a weird spongy consistency. Why the heck is that?? I don't know if it's a weird physics problem or... I dunno. It's weird.
Oh and it's not because they're not done. Trust me. They stay all spongy. And I actually mean spongy, not just... falling apart. The tins are pretty much the same size, and the same material and set and stuff.

when ever other people make brownies their is this flaky layer but when i make them the top is like the part on the inside and not the layer....how do you get the layer on it?

lol i have read these questions and it seems the answers are all condescending. half of the people say that the more egg you use the cakier the brownie gets while the other half thinks the contrary? so please let me know with a reliable source. i make homemade brownies and i dont want it so gooey. i dont exactly want them to be just not mushy. thank you!

I'm a beginner with cooking, and I've been making brownies in a 9x13 glass pan with brownie mix. They come out nicely but the edges are always hard, I know my mom's are that way too. Does anyone have tips on how to make them so they aren't AS hard along the edges of the pan?

Also, can I use PAM cooking spray to make them come out of the pan easier?

I made a big batch of brownie batter and only made about 12 actual brownies. I put the rest of the mix in a plastic bag and put it in the fridge for later use, but I don't know how long it will last and I don't eat sweets often so I'm worried it's going to be wasted. How long would it last if I froze it? This recipe uses eggs and butter.

Everytime I make brownies, I follow the directions, and I test to make sure it is cooked by sticking a fork or tooth pick in it, and waiting until it does not stick to it. But I usually get worried that it will come out a bit raw and we'll get sick from eating it. So I wait a few extra minutes.

Then when I cut it up, the center of the brownie it ok, but not as moist as I would like. And the edges are horribly dry and nobody wants them! How can I prevent my brownies from going dry, right out of the oven? ( I'm almost sure that it's because I'm keeping it in the oven too long.

Some one give me some brownie advice! How can I make sure that it is fully baked and moist throughout the entire pan? I want my brownies to be as soft and yummy as the ones you buy from stores!
